Projects

Things I Build

I've led engineering teams for nearly two decades. Building is still how I think most clearly. These are side projects I've made to solve real problems, explore new domains, or simply follow a thread of curiosity somewhere interesting. No grand portfolio ambitions — just a practitioner staying honest about what it means to ship something.

Agile Tooling Live

Sprint Retrospective

Retrospectives tend to fail not because of process but because the tooling is either too rigid or too bare. I wanted a board that teams actually want to open — lightweight, visually flexible, and frictionless to start. No accounts. No onboarding. Just a URL and a shared space to think together.

  • Three-column board: Went Well / To Improve / Action Items
  • Facilitator controls — hide cards, manage voting, cap votes per person
  • 50+ brand themes to match any team's personality
  • Image and GIF support, emoji reactions, CSV export
  • Fully client-side — no backend, no sign-up required

Geospatial & Audio Live

Radio Explorer

Radio is one of the few live, genuinely local forms of media still broadcasting — and yet it's almost invisible on the modern web. I got curious about what the world sounds like right now, in real time, from a fishing village in Norway or a city street in Lagos. So I built a way to explore it on a globe.

  • Interactive globe and map view of live worldwide radio stations
  • Real-time audio streaming — click a location, hear what's on
  • Station discovery by geography with live station metadata
  • Lightweight, no-login — built for curiosity, not curation

Utility & Productivity Live

CalcHub

Most online calculators solve one thing and send you searching again for the next. I wanted a single, well-organised hub that covers the full range of everyday calculation needs — from a quick BMI check to a loan amortisation or an Ohm's law lookup — without ads, clutter, or friction. Forty-plus calculators, one place.

  • 7 categories: Finance, Math, Health, Engineering, Date & Time, Business, and more
  • 40+ calculators — from standard and scientific to matrices and break-even analysis
  • Keyboard-first navigation with search (Ctrl K) and dark / light mode
  • No sign-up, no ads — built to be fast and genuinely useful

QR Studio

QR codes are everywhere, but most generators are noisy, ad-heavy, or push you toward an account you don't need. I built QR Studio for the opposite experience — a clean, capable tool that lets you create and fully customise a QR code in seconds, with everything processed locally so nothing you type ever leaves your device.

  • Encodes URLs, text, email, phone, SMS, Wi-Fi credentials, and contact cards
  • Full appearance control — dot shape, corner style, colours, gradients, and logo overlay
  • Export as PNG, SVG, or high-res PNG (4× for print quality)
  • Entirely client-side — no server, no account, no data collection on your input

I keep these projects deliberately simple and purposeful. Good tooling should be invisible — it should just get out of the way and let the work happen. That's a principle I apply to the teams and products I lead professionally too.
